The Vision
The vision always starts the same way. A woman sits in peaceful meditation, her dark olive skin glowing in the soft light. She wears a grey modern blouse made of exquisitely fine material, with a round medallion hanging from her neck and simple earrings catching the light. Though her clothes are contemporary, there’s something different about her appearance – an ancient wisdom in her features that hints at an Egyptian aesthetic.
The serenity shatters as a massive jolt rocks the building. The sound is like an earthquake but somehow different – more mechanical, more unnatural. The woman’s eyes snap open in fear as she runs to the window of her high-rise office.
Outside, a scene of apocalyptic destruction unfolds. Modern skyscrapers, sleek and futuristic, are consumed by strange fires. The sky itself seems to burn with an otherworldly energy that shouldn’t exist in our time.
The woman turns from the window, her face filled with urgency but maintaining a deep dignity. Looking directly at Shock D, she speaks in a voice like flowing water:
“Save your people!” “Save your world!” “Don’t make the same mistakes we did!”
A beautiful metallic pyramid materializes before her, rotating in mid-air with brilliant blue light pouring from its center. Her hair rises with static electricity as she makes her final plea: “Find me before it’s too late!”
Then the strange fire consumes her, and Shock D jolts awake, her heart pounding.
Sharing the Vision
“Guys, I keep having this horrible dream,” Shock D tells the other Star Kids, her voice trembling. “There’s this woman, and she keeps saying ‘save your people, save your world’ – something about it being too late. It’s really scary! There’s fire everywhere, and she… she gets engulfed in flames!”
Tears start rolling down her cheeks. “And there’s this weird pyramid thing floating in front of her with all these strange symbols. I can’t take it anymore! It feels so real!”
“What kind of pyramid?” asks Jai, leaning forward with interest.
“It was like… metallic green, I think? And it was floating! Had all these weird symbols I’ve never seen before.”
“Can you draw it?” Io (i – o, pronounced Eye-oh) suggests.
“I’ll try…” Shock D takes a piece of paper and carefully sketches the pyramid and the strange symbols she remembers from her dream.
“Okay, well, what the heck does this mean?” Jai scratches his head. “Maybe you’re just stressed out about everything that’s been happening lately?”
“No, guys, this was real!” Shock D insists, pounding her fist on the table. “It was like a vision. She was talking directly to me. I’m telling you this is no ordinary dream!”

The Search Begins
The Star Kids gather around a computer, googling pyramid symbols and coming up empty.
“Maybe it’s connected to the Great Pyramids?” suggests Jai. “I mean, that would make sense, right?”

An eternity later, the kitchen table was a mess of half-eaten pizza, printed flight itineraries for Cairo, and three different tablets showing the Giza Plateau.
“If we book the flight tonight, we can be in Egypt by Thursday,” Jai said, tapping a red marker on a printed map. “It’s the most logical place to start.”
“Forget Egypt!” Io suddenly barked. He was half upside down in the corner on the floor, hunched over a heavy-duty laptop covered in stickers, his fingers flying across the keys. “Guys, check this out! I just bypassed a geo-tagging filter on a private research forum. This whistleblower claims there are pyramids in Antarctica!”
“Antarctica?” Jai let out a loud snort. “Come on, Io! There are no pyramids in Antarctica. That’s just some Social Media conspiracy garbage. It’s a giant ice cube!”
Io slowly looks up, his glasses reflecting the blue light of his screen. “A giant ice cube, Jai? Really? Think about the math. We’re talking about an ice sheet nearly two miles deep in some spots. That’s over five million square miles of land that hasn’t seen the sun in thirty-four million years!”
He turned the laptop around so the group could see a grainy, top-down satellite image. He jumped up, gave Jai a crazy look, and danced a victory lap around the room, shouting, “We have better 3D maps of the surface of Mars than we do of the actual ground under the South Pole. You really think you know every secret buried under billions of tons of ancient ice? Lol, okay.”
The room went quiet. They all slowly looked at their tablets. The bright photos of the Egyptian desert on the screens suddenly looked so very “last century.”
“Look!” Io points at the screen excitedly. “The symbols in his photos – they match Shock D’s drawing!”
“Let me see that,” Shock D pushes forward, eyes widening. “Oh my gosh, they do match! But… the photos are all blurry and old.”
“Yeah,” Io nods vigorously. “Because once people noticed them — THEY — made sure it would never be found again!”
“THEY?” Jai raises an eyebrow.
“You know… THEM,” Io wiggles his fingers mysteriously.
“Oh no, not this again,” Jai groans. “We don’t have time for more of your conspiracy theories.”
“It’s not conspiracy theories!” Io protests. “I take offense at that, man. I put a lot of work into this research! Just look at these symbols – they’re exactly like what Shock D drew!”
The others crowd around the screen again, comparing the photographs to Shock D’s drawing. The similarities are undeniable.
“We have to track this researcher down,” Shock D declares. “Maybe he can help us.”
“You know what’s really weird?” Io adds with a grin. “I’m talking to you guys about secrets of the world, and you’re literally some of them!”
“Ha ha, very funny,” Jai deadpans, but can’t help smiling.
The Researcher
They eventually track down Dr. Marcus Chen, the researcher who documented the Antarctic pyramids. Once a respected archaeologist, he’s now considered a fringe theorist by his peers. They find him in a small office cluttered with maps and photographs, looking worn out, but his eyes are still bright with conviction.
“Finally,” Dr. Chen breathes, his hands trembling as he holds Shock D’s drawing. “Someone who believes me. Do you know how many years I’ve been trying to get people to take this seriously? The harassment I’ve endured? The way my reputation has been destroyed?”
His voice cracks on the last word, and he sinks into his chair, covering his face with his hands as he begins to bawl. The room is silent, save for the sound of the old researcher finally letting go of a decade of hurt and isolation.
“We believe you,” Shock D says softly, stepping toward the desk.
Dr. Chen looks up, his eyes red and streaming, his face a mask of pure disbelief. “You… you do?”
“Of course we do,” Io says, stepping out from the shadows of a bookshelf and folding his arms. “But you realize your reputation wasn’t just ‘destroyed,’ right? It was a calculated reputation assassination. Courtesy of — the Puppet Masters.”
Dr. Chen blinks, wiping a tear from his cheek and looking confused. “The… the what?”
“The people pulling the strings, Doc,” Io says, his eyes narrowing. “They couldn’t let a real researcher find the Antarctic pyramids, so they hit the ‘delete’ button on your life. They probably blackmailed your university’s donors and fed fake data to your colleagues just to discredit you. It’s a textbook defamation hit-job to make sure the world thought you were a joke so nobody would ever follow your trail.”
Dr. Chen stopped crying and just stared at Io. The only sound in the room was the low, electric hum of Io’s laptop fan, his mouth hanging open slightly. Even for a man who had spent his life looking for lost civilizations under the ice, this kid sounded like he was tuned into a frequency that was a little too out there.
“I… I’m fairly certain it was just my colleagues being narrow-minded,” Chen stammers, leaning his chair a few inches away from Io.
Shock D clears her throat and shoots Io a sharp “not now” look. “Anyway, like I said, we need your help.”
Journey to Antarctica
Through a combination of Dr. Chen’s connections and some creative problem-solving, the Star Kids manage to arrange transportation to Antarctica. As their plane flies over the endless white landscape, Dr. Chen points out their destination – a subtle geometric shape barely visible beneath centuries of ice.
“There it is! Absolutely amazing!” Io presses his face against the window. “But… how on Earth are we supposed to get into that thing? It’s completely buried in snow!”
Dr. Chen smiles. “I know a way. There’s a natural cave system that leads to an underground entrance. I’ve mapped it extensively during my previous expeditions.”

The cave system is vast and eerily beautiful, with walls of blue-white ice that seem to glow from within. After what feels like hours of careful navigation through the winding passages, they emerge into an ancient chamber deep within the pyramid.
“Okay, guys, this is a dead end,” Jai says, examining the solid walls.
“This must be it,” Shock D insists. “I can feel it.”
They search every inch of the chamber, looking for secret passages, hidden panels, anything that might lead them further. But they find nothing.
“Look at me,” Dr. Chen says quietly. “I’ve been here many times. I have no idea what any of it means.”

The Star Kids sit down, exhausted and discouraged.
“Guys, this place is kind of spooky,” Shock D shivers. “I don’t know if I want to stay here much longer.”
“Well,” Jai suggests hesitantly, “maybe you should try meditating? Like the woman in your vision?”
“Meditate? I’m too scared!” Shock D protests. “YOU meditate!”
“But you’re the one who had the vision,” Jai points out. “It has to be you.”
Taking a deep breath, Shock D sits down in the center of the chamber and closes her eyes. Almost immediately, she gasps.
“Guys, I see her!”
The Temporal Bridge
The chamber suddenly comes alive with strange energetic patterns crawling across the walls. The woman from Shock D’s vision appears in her mind, clear as day.
“Good, very good,” the woman says warmly. “You have found me. Focus on me with all of your mind.”
The patterns on the walls intensify, and reality itself seems to shift around them. When the light fades, they find themselves standing in a bright, clean room with the woman from the vision.
An Emissary from the Past
“Great, you are here,” she smiles, but there’s urgency in her eyes. “I knew you would come. Hurry, we don’t have much time. The world is in great danger!”
She leads them out onto a balcony overlooking a breathtaking city. Sleek buildings rise organically from the ground, their crystalline surfaces catching the light. Flying vehicles zip between the towers, and everywhere there are signs of advanced technology seamlessly integrated with nature.
“Wow, what a beautiful place!” Shock D breathes.
The woman’s smile turns sarcastic. “Too bad beauty isn’t everything,” she rolls her eyes.
“Is this the future?” Jai asks, staring at a floating transport platform passing nearby.
“No.”
“Where are we?”
“Not where,” she corrects. “When.”
“Who are you?”
“I am Anala – Custodian of the Knowledge.”
“What knowledge?” Jai asks.
“The knowledge of what happens when a civilization advances without wisdom. This is your past.”
“Our past?” Says Jai, shocked.
“Yes. We are a civilization that existed many, many thousands of years before yours.”
The Edge of Destruction
Anala leads them to the edge of an enormous excavation site. A massive machine hovers above the pit, connected to the rim by thick cables that pulse with energy.
“Like you, we had great technology,” Anala explains as a flying car zooms overhead. “We thought we knew everything, had big egos, believed we were all-powerful. But we were wrong.”
Suddenly, the hovering machine activates. A beam of intense energy shoots down into the center of the pit. The ground shakes violently, and a horrible high-pitched sound fills the air – like the Earth itself is screaming in pain.
“What is this!?” Shock D covers her ears.
“Our destruction,” Anala says solemnly. “Like ignorant children playing with fire, we toy with forces we don’t understand.”
They watch as a group of scientists argue in a nearby control room filled with crystal technology and pyramidal computers. One man pushes past the others, his face contorted with obsessive determination. Despite his colleagues’ attempts to stop him, he activates the machine again.
“Like the greedy corporations and governments of your world, those in power here want to extract energy from deep within the Earth,” Anala explains. “But they don’t understand that these attacks into the Earth will ultimately destroy us.”
“You mean they’re trying to get energy from inside the Earth?” Jai asks.
“Kind of like drilling for oil,” Anala nods, “but more like drilling for energy with energy.”
They watch as protesters approach the facility, only to be violently repelled by guards wielding energy weapons.
“Like your time, there are those who oppose this,” Anala sighs. “But they lack the power to effect the necessary changes.”
The Knowledge
“Our technology is based on using crystals to harness and manipulate energy,” Anala explains, leading them to a quieter space. “Energy from the moon, the sun, the earth, and even the stars.”
She demonstrates by using a crystal and a small pyramid to focus invisible energy into a controlled flame.
“These subtle energy patterns are everywhere in your time as well, but you haven’t learned to harness them yet. Just as you use a prism and magnifying glass to focus sunlight, we use what you call pyramids to focus these universal energies.”
They watch in amazement as she shows them how this technology can heat homes, power flying machines, and even communicate across vast distances.
“In many ways, we are technologically more advanced than your current civilization, which still relies on primitive methods like burning fossil fuels,” she explains. “But the main lesson is this: technology without spiritual wisdom is dangerous. No matter how good your technology, a world without love is doomed.”
The Gift
“The place where you found me,” Anala says, “the pyramid in Antarctica – my sisters left a device there for you.”
“The pyramid from my dream?” Shock D asks.
Anala nods. “With it, you will have many powers and possibilities. But more importantly, you will have the wisdom to use them correctly.”
“Where is your family now?” Jai asks.
“I am part of a great family. My father was a scientist who tried to warn others of the dangers of these experiments. But he was shunned, and no one would listen. My sisters evacuated across the great sea.”
“But you didn’t go with them?” Shock D’s voice is soft.
“No. I had to stay to reach you. I couldn’t bear the thought that this could happen again.” Anala’s eyes grow distant. “Our family has the secret ability to communicate through time.”
“In my dream, you died,” Shock D says hesitantly. “There was a great fire…”
“That machine you saw earlier? It’s part of a great energetic experiment that will destroy our world.” Anala’s voice is heavy with sadness. “In a way, I am already dead, speaking to you from the past.”
“What?!”
“I exist now only in this temporal rift to warn you. You must do what you can to save your world. Don’t let those in power destroy everything with their greed and selfishness and lack of love, like they did with us.”
As her form begins to fade, Jai calls out, “Wait! What was the name of your civilization?”
“We are the great civilization of Atlantis,” she answers, her voice growing faint, “that exists to you now only as legend.”
“You must bring love to the world,” her final words echo around them. “Save your people!” “Save your world!” “Don’t make the same mistakes we did!”
The scene recedes to a point of light and vanishes, leaving them standing in the dusty chamber of the Antarctic pyramid.
The Legacy
The Star Kids stand in awed silence, processing what they’ve witnessed. Tears stream down Shock D’s face.
“Why did she have to die?” she sobs. “Why are humans so stupid? Why can’t we learn!?”
Dr. Chen stares at them with wide eyes. “What… what happened when you disappeared?”
“Disappeared?” Jai asks.
“You… you all just vanished!” Chen gestures wildly. “And then… and then you just appeared again!”
“Really?” Jai grins. “Cool!”
“She said her sisters left something here,” Jai reminds them. “The pyramid device must be in this room somewhere.”
Using the energy-reading techniques Anala taught them, they’re able to locate and open a hidden chamber containing the promised device – the same metallic pyramid from Shock D’s vision.
With this ancient technology, they now have the ability to read and interact with the earth’s energy fields. But more importantly, they carry Anala’s warning: that no amount of technological advancement can save a civilization that has lost its heart.
As they prepare to leave the chamber, each of them silently vows to honor Anala’s sacrifice by bringing more love and wisdom to the world – before it’s too late.
– The End
The Adventure is Just Beginning…
The discovery of the ancient pyramid is only the first piece of the puzzle. Now that the Star Kids have witnessed the awful truth of what happened to Anala’s world, they must learn to master this new technology they’ve been given. Are they ready for the responsibility that comes with her message from the past?
“Save your people! Save your world! Don’t make the same mistakes we did!”
